It has been six years since the long-term care insurance started in Korea. However, it has still limitations to deliver effective long-term care services to the elderly. Especially lack of standardized service process using IT results in the gaps among long-term care facilities. Therefore, this study is to suggest an implication for the needs of IT convergence case management and standardization of the long-term care services. For the purpose, the researchers describe a stage of case management process and major contents of the process in long-term care facilities. It is expected for IT convergence case management program to be designed in the future, which includes the essential contents of care management in the long-term care facilities. |
