논문내용 |
In this paper, the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the reliability of digital twins are proposed by researching and analyzing the digital twin framework for manufacturing and software quality characteristics, applying the Goal-Question-Metric (GQM) methodology. To provide KPIs for evaluating the reliability of digital twins, the framework for manufacturing digital twins was analyzed. The core technologies and requirements of digital twins were extracted, and based on these elements, goals were set to measure reliability analysis. Subsequently, appropriate questions were posed for each sub-characteristic of software reliability (maturity, fault tolerance, recoverability, availability) to achieve the goals. The measurement indicators used to answer these questions quantitatively were developed by referencing the commonly used metrics in software development. Through this, KPIs were proposed to achieve the goal of measuring reliability. As future research, it is necessary to test whether the proposed KPIs produce positive results when applied to actual digital twin systems in the field. Based on repeated testing results, KPIs with low achievement rates can be extracted, and the findings can be used to develop improved KPIs. |
