The domestic military aviation industry has been continuously developing, including the development of military aircraft and avionics equipment, and at the same time, projects to improve the performance of the military aircraft are also underway. To this end, avionics equipment development and military aircraft modifications are being carried out, and airworthiness certification work following modifications is also increasing. In this situation, When the military aircraft is modified, it is essential to review the structures, which is one of the airworthiness certification criteria. However, there is a lack of research on structures process of airworthiness certification when partial modifications of the military aircraft are made. Accordingly, in this study, structures process of airworthiness certification was studied when the military aircraft is partially modified for reasons such as performance improvement of the aircraft. For this purpose, standard airworthiness certification criteria was introduced and structures, one of the airworthiness certification criteria, was summarized and analyzed. In addition, the reference documents for the airworthiness certification criteria about structures were analyzed. And the expected structures task was analyzed through an example assuming a general modifications of the military aircraft. Through these, analysis is presented to improve understanding of the structures task about airworthiness certification in the situation of military aircraft modifications. |
