The purpose of this study is to classify the types and characteristics of texts for the TOPIK readingtest and to analyze the average value of errors committed by test takers around each type to presentlearning measures to improve reading ability. To conduct this study, previous studies were outlined, thetypes of text were roughly classified into information type, expression type, and emotional type, And theinformation type was subdivided into advertisements, suggestions, and notices, the expression type wassubdivided into introductions, explanations, diagrams, and news, and the emotional type was subdividedinto sentimental texts and analyzed errors committed by foreign students focusing on the compositionand content of the detailed text. It was examined that the rate of errors differs depending on conditionssuch as the presence or absence of prior learning, the difference in the duration of learning Korean, andan individual's daily reading. Focusing on the results of this analysis, a learning strategy according toerrors for each type of Text was presented. The most difficult sentence to understand the text was theappreciation text, and news and advertisements pointed out that in addition to literal information, Koreanculture, emotions, and implications were needed. Through this study, the necessity of research on thecorrelation between the factors of the incorrect answer rate and the incorrect answer rate according tothe text type was also presented. |
