The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of college students' parenting experience on co-dependence. The subjects of this study were 131 university students from Daegu and Gyeongbuk region, and the questionnaire was composed of parenting experience and co-dependence scale. To analyze the collected data, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed. The main results of this study are as follows. First, there was a significant correlation between parenting experience and co-dependence in the growing season. Second, it was found that among the sub-factors of the parenting experience scale in the growth period, physical parenting, emotional parenting, and inequality, the unfair factor had a greater influence on co-dependence than other factors. Third, it was found that in the influence of gender-based parenting experience on co-dependence, inequality experiences had an effect on co-dependence in women rather than men. In the case of parents having no experience of separation, the effect on co-dependence was greater than that of the case where there was no experience of separation. From these results, it was found that inequality among the sub-factors of the parenting experience had more influence on the co-dependence of the parenting experience in the growth period. Finally, suggestions for convergent research were presented in discussion and counseling on these research results. |
