논문내용 A fall accidents can cause mental and physical loss of the patient, leading to death and such accidents cause a higher medical burden than non-fall patients. In addition, when a legal medical dispute occurs, it increases even further the patients and caregiver burden as well as hospitals. Therefore, it is very important to detection fall accidents and to deal with it quickly after it occurs. A fall detection system has been developed using various sensors, such as a three-axis accelerometer, a gyro sensor, an image sensor, an audio sensor, a vibration sensor, and an acoustic sensor, which have been studied so far. However, it still has the following three problems: low accuracy, such as not detecting a fall or recognizing an action occurring in daily life as a fall, inconvenient to always attach an additional sensor to the body, and difficulty treating patients quickly after a fall has occurred. In this paper, to improve this problem, we propose a fall detection system using a radar sensor and individual patient data. The developed system can recognize more than 95.0% of falls even in natural environments and invisible situations by using radar and when a fall occurs, the system can use hospital inpatients data to send a signal according to the level of risk to medical team and caregivers.
