논문투고자 Hee-Ryong Park
논문내용 The purpose of this study was to determine how loneliness and alienation, which are psychological factors affecting college life adjustment, affect Chinese international students. To this end, a survey was conducted on 156 undergraduates, graduate students, language trainees, etc. enrolled in a 4-year university in the Gyeongbuk region to collect data, and the collected data was analyzed using SPSS 18.0, a statistical program. As a result of analyzing the difference between demographic variables, adaptation to college life, loneliness and alienation, gender, age, and Korean level did not show any significant difference, but there was a significant difference depending on the length of stay. It can be predicted that the longer this has a positive effect on the adaptation to college life, especially in academic adaptation and attachment to college, higher than 3 years. It can be seen that the longer the period of stay and the early stage of university life, the higher the attachment to the university. Second, as a result of confirming the relative influence of Chinese students' loneliness and alienation on their adaptation to college life, it was found that loneliness and alienation had a negative effect on college student adaptation. Therefore, it can be seen as a result of lack of a sense of belonging and ties and inexperience in Korean language ability because social relations with others are not well formed in college life, and the sense of social isolation is the result of short stay and adaptation to college life in younger students. This result was found to have a negative effect on the relationship, rather than a lack of belonging and ties, but rather as a psychological factor that was felt because the period of stay was short and the level of Korean language proficiency was low. It can be seen that it is negatively
affecting the adaptation to college life.
