논문내용 The transmission speed of local area networks is rapidly increasing every year. In wired networks, 10 Gigabit ethernet has already been applied. It is expected that a communication system with a transmission speed of 10 Gbps in a wireless environment. To achieve a transmission speed of 10 Gbps in a wireless environment, a wideband receiver can be designed using a schottky barrier diode (SBD) as one of the implementation methods. In this paper, we designed a broadband SBD receiver that can receive wireless data transmission signals of 10 Gbps in a wireless communication system. The wideband SBD receiver consists of an antenna, a low pass filter, and a schottky diode. The receiver's antenna and low pass filter were designed in CPW (Coplanar Waveguide) form to construct a system on one plane. When designing the low pass filter, the cutoff frequency was not designed as the baseband frequency, and the cutoff frequency was set so that the S11 characteristic was near 0 dB at the received frequency. This is to transmit RF power to both the antenna and schottky diode by increasing the impedance of the low pass filter at the receiving frequency. This design resulted in increased video sensitivity of the receiver. Therefore, the final receiver circuit was able to secure stable reception performance by using a matching circuit and low pass filter. These receivers can be constructed more simply than conventional frequency conversion receivers. Therefore, the receiver can be manufactured inexpensively. Based on the design results of this paper, it is believed that the designed wideband SBD receiver can be used as an excellent receiver for millimeter waves and terahertz waves in the future.
