The purpose of this study is to present convenience and usefulness in learning Korean by examing the core principles of Korean honorifics and identifying the errors and types of honorifics that are common to foreign students. To conduct this study, prior research was outlined, error types were roughly classified into grammatical and vocabulary errors, and daily conversations between professors and students to use Korean honorifics were analyzed and used in class. In addition, by understanding the flexibility of the hierarchy in Korean society through the use of honorifics, the results of errors in the use of honorifics could be expanded to areas such as listening, speaking, and reading. In particular, by spending a lot of time on practice and effective use, the actual class plan presented a new model for acquiring practical and usable Korean honorifics by breaking away from theory-centered teaching methods, and the results of error analysis also resulted in a decrease in errors in the use of honorifics. Furthermore, it is considered that error analysis is necessary at various levels in order to derive more objective and universal results. This study emphasized that by expanding the scope of error analysis to Korean familier and social hierarchies, it is the right way for foreigners to learn Korean as well as Korean honorifics by closely grasping linguistic and cultural factors. |
