Drones are officially called unmanned aerial vehicles. Beginner drone pilots are allowed to operate drones with restrictions according to the Aviation Safety Act and the Act on the Promotion of Drone Utilization. Therefore, based on the experience of training beginner pilots of multicopters among unmanned aerial vehicles, this paper describes the composition of a set of learning teaching aids, the method of learning to operate, and the training curriculum for safe drone operation management training. The teaching aid is a multicopter weighing 250 grams or less, which is designed to be used without straining the user without legal problems. The lecture content included basic multicopters knowledge and aviation knowledge, and explained the piloting learning method and curriculum. The lecture content was applied to about 1,000 beginner multicopters learners, ranging from kindergarteners to adults, and was refined over five years. An important part was choosing the appropriate learning tool. The selected multicopters drone is suitable for indoor use due to its small size and weak propeller power, and is easy for learners to operate in a school gym. In conclusion, this paper presents the design of training curriculum based on safety accident acquisition for unmanned multicopter beginners. This new curriculum complements the last five years of training. By learning about small safety incidents, learners can prevent big accidents in the future. |
