논문내용 Color vision deficiency is a symptom in which specific colors cannot be distinguished and is categorized as color blindness and color weakness. This symptom is typically caused by genetic factors and results in difficulties in perceiving information through colors in daily life. Existing solutions include expressing colors that individuals with color vision deficiency cannot perceive through text or applying color filters designed for color vision deficiency to the entire image. Expressing colors through text allows individuals with color vision deficiency to recognize the colors in textual form, but it still has limitations in visually distinguishing among multiple colors. Using color filters on the entire image allows individuals with color vision deficiency to differentiate colors that are typically challenging for them, but it distorts even the colors that appear normal to others. Therefore, in this paper, a method is proposed to overcome these limitations by detecting only the objects of specific colors that individuals with color vision deficiency cannot perceive and applying color conversion filters to those areas. Additionally, it discriminates the color and type of objects from images and informs the users. Through the application implemented in this paper, individuals with color vision deficiency can distinguish colors clearly and accurately. Consequently, it is expected to greatly assist individuals with color vision deficiency in their daily lives, such as recognizing various color charts or handwritten content and identifying and recording the colors of clothing.
