The purpose of this study is to verify the influence of college students' values and self-efficacy on career preparation behavior in the post-COVID-19 era. To this end, a survey was conducted from September to December 2022 targeting 244 university students currently preparing for employment across the country, and the influence was analyzed. For the collected data, path analysis was conducted using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 23.0 statistical programs, and the results of the empirical analysis are as follows. It was found that self-achievement orientation, practical orientation, emotional orientation, and self-efficacy variables, which are sub-factors of values, explained career preparation behavior in a statically meaningful way. Specifically, it was confirmed that the higher the self-fulfillment orientation, practical orientation, emotional orientation, and self-efficacy, the higher the career preparation behavior, and the higher the influence in the order of self-efficacy, practical orientation, emotional orientation, and self-fulfillment orientation. As the COVID-19 crisis prolongs, many changes are taking place in various parts of society, and various movements are emerging to prepare for the post-COVID-19 era. We hope this study will serve as basic data to provide practical plans for career education so that college students can prepare for stable careers in the post-COVID-19 era which is chaotic and uncertain. |
