The purpose of this study is to establish evaluation criteria for the purchase of electric vehicles and to present an evaluation model using quantitative scales for evaluation factors. This study was limited to the study on purchasing factors for electric vehicles, and the spatial scope was limited to potential customers in their 20s to 50s living in Daejeon region. Based on the survey, AHP technique was used to examine the factors that affected purchasing factors(energy economy, image, performance, maintenance, and price) and to analyze the priorities of how these factors affected the purchase of electric vehicles. In addition, a consistency ratio(CR) test was conducted to verify the logical consistency of the survey items. As a final result of the study on the purchasing factors, the safety in performance was the number one priority, followed by the internal interface in the image and the discount rate in the price, respectively, No. 2 and No. 3, and A/S satisfaction in maintenance and the mileage per charge in energy economy, No 4 and No. 5, which was identified to have the highest relative importance. It was found that customers’ purchases of electric vehicles were affected by performance, followed by image, price, maintenance, and energy economy. It is considered that this study could present the priority considerations for the purchase of electric vehicles, provide information on consumers’ interest in electric vehicles in the future, and provide opportunities to offer a variety of services by classes. |
