The HMR sector is an important growth engine in the food industry. Among ready-to-heat food, Soups and Tang such as Yukgaejang increased the most to 89.7% in 2020 compared to 2018. The raw materials mainly used to manufacture soup and tang are meat such as beef, and vegetables such as taro, Kimchi cabbage, and green onions. However, vegetables have various foreign materials such as hair, making it difficult for factory workers to select and remove foreign materals one by one, so it is an important factor to improve quickly. In this study, it is about the development of a "foreign materials removing machine for vegetables " that are put in to prevent foreign materials from being detected in food. With the help of Gyodong Food Co., Ltd., located in Okcheon, Chungcheongbuk-do, a foreign materials removing machine was developed and installed to analyze the effectiveness of foreign materials removal. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the effect was very high as various foreign materials were reduced by 57.4% compared to before the use of the foreign materials removing machine for vegetables. Foreign materials detected in food are also important to manage in the manufacturing and distribution process of food. In addition, foreign substances in raw materials used in food should be removed. In the future, as in this study, there is a need to develop more technologies to remove foreign materials attached to food raw materials. It is hoped that this study will be helpful in safe food manufacturing and contribute to the development of the food industry. |
