The purpose of this study is to explore the improvement direction for the settlement of distance education in the school field by investigating the reality and demands of distance education of elementary, middle and high school teachers. For this study, a survey was conducted on 529 elementary, middle, and high school teachers in Chungcheongnam-do, and the composition of each group was 178 elementary school teachers (33.6%), 215 middle school teachers (40.6%), and 136 high school teachers (25.7%). %) was. The results of the analysis of the study are as follows: First, the overall average of elementary, middle, and high school teachers' awareness of distance education (2.61 points) and actual conditions (2.97 points) in the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education was low (<3.0), and distance education competency (3.74 points). ) and the overall average of the reality and demand of the era of great digital transformation (3.17 points) was average (≧3.0). Second, school field teachers recognize that the distance education implemented in elementary, middle and high schools has created a learning gap between students, and that distance education cannot reduce the learning gap between students. And the preference for distance education was also low. As for the improvement direction for the settlement of distance education in the school field, first, practical training that reflects teachers' opinions is needed. Second, consulting is needed for newly hired teachers and teachers who have difficulties with distance classes. Third, it is necessary to open a distance education subject in the curriculum of the College of Education. Finally, this study extended the results of the study, suggesting that research on parents and students is needed, and research on teachers by regional scale is required. |
