In this paper, propagation prediction was performed using 3D ray tracing to understand the propagation channel characteristics of EHF indoor wireless communication. A basic investigation was conducted on the design of the indoor communication network for 3D ray tracing. And the basic theories of electromagnetic waves were used. It is possible to determine the power transmission characteristics in the indoor space according to the size of the room, the location of the transmitter, the arrangement of furniture in the indoor environment through this propagation prediction. The straightness is very strong at a very high frequency and it has a short wavelength on the order of millimeter or less. So the effect of diffraction is ignored. The effect of LOS (Line Of Sight) and reflection are considered. Also, the wavelength is very short, even the roughness of the wall surface must be considered. Therefore, there is no reflection according to Snell’s law and scattering occurs in different directions. This has the same effect as the reduced reflection coefficient. Simulation results obtained the same results as those of the german paper. This confirmed that the simulation in this paper was accurate. The numerical results of this paper can be directly applied in various communication environments. It is expected that it can be used in the design of terahertz communication networks, which are getting more and more popular in the future. |
