The number of agricultural workers in Korea is decreasing year by year, and this is also applicable to facility cucumber farms. Currently, most facility cucumber farms manually classify and distribute cucumbers with product value according to their appropriate thickness, length, and curvature. Here, too, it requires manpower and takes a lot of time, so we intend to develop a system that can automatically classify the quality of harvested cucumbers. In order to classify the quality of cucumbers, a classification method through image recognition is used using the appearance of cucumbers. In this study, the goal is to classify the quality using the appearance of cucumbers, so a teachable machine was used. In this paper, for the classification of cucumbers by quality, the grade of cucumbers was first defined as A to G, 7 stages. The background of filming the cucumber was set on a white background without a pattern. If there were no patterns, it could be classified in dark gray or other achromatic backgrounds rather than white. In the future, we plan to develop a cucumber quality management system from harvest to shipment by classifying the quality in the process of harvesting and distinguishing cucumbers in the greenhouse, not only classifying them under specific circumstances using stereo cameras. |
