The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that affect the emotions of future AI technology and life attitudes of college students. To achieve this end, logistic regression analysis was performed on data of 887 four-year college students in 2020 of the Korean Education & Employment Panel II. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that female students had higher levels of AI service use and career barriers than male students, and non-science & engineering college students had higher levels of AI service use and career barriers than science & engineering college students. In addition, it was found that female students had higher rates of negative emotions about future artificial intelligence technology and future life attitudes than male students, and non-science & engineering college students had higher rates of negative emotions about future artificial intelligence technology and future life attitudes than science & engineering college students. Second, it was found that the factors affecting the emotion of the future AI technology were the major field, gender, degree of use of AI services, and the lack of self-understanding among psychological barrier factors. Also, factors affecting future life attitude were found to be lack of self-confidence and lack of self-understanding among psychological barrier factors and major field. Therefore, it is suggested to provide programs to help female students and nnon-science & engineering college students overcome their lack of self-understanding and lack of self-confidence. |
