In this study, it was revealed that internal marketing and financial performance are causal factors of manufacturing and service companies' organizational innovation capabilities, and the introduction of job satisfaction and organizational commitment as a means to strengthen internal marketing strategies improves financial performance. As a research method, an empirical analysis was conducted on 384 organizational members engaged in domestic material manufacturing and service companies. Structural equation modeling(SEM) was used to analyze the structural relationship between internal marketing and organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and financial performance. The analysis results are summarized as follows. First, Internal marketing has a positive(+) effect on job satisfaction and financial performance, but on the other hand, it had a negative(-) effect on organizational commitment. Second, employee satisfaction was found to have a meaningful effect on financial performance, but organizational commitment was not statistically significant on financial performance. Third, job satisfaction played a mediating role between internal marketing and financial performance, but organizational commitment did not show a mediating role between internal marketing and financial performance. In other words, it was found that job satisfaction and internal marketing are major prior factors as a number of key factors on financial performance. These results suggest that understanding and interest in internal marketing, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment are needed to strengthen the organizational innovation capabilities of not only service companies but also manufacturing companies. |
